Is it really free?
Yes. Generate and download as many codes as you like with no account or card. The PNG carries a discreet “qmarque.com” mark at the foot, never over the code.
Will the QR code expire?
No. It is a static QR code: the content is encoded in the pattern itself and does not depend on any server of ours. It works for as long as the website or network it points to exists.
Can I change where the QR code points after printing?
Not with a static QR code: to change it you generate a new one. If you need to edit the destination without reprinting, use a dynamic QR code (Studio plan or above).
Do you store what I type or my WiFi password?
No. The code is generated in your browser and the content is never sent to any server.
Can I add my brand logo?
This generator makes black-and-white codes. To add a logo, colours and shapes, create a free account and use the FusionQR studio.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code carries the content inside the code: it never expires but cannot be edited. A dynamic code carries a short URL that redirects to the destination: you can change it anytime and measure scans.
